About the Show
Set in Ballarat in mid-1800s during the height of the gold rush, Gladys and her adopted parents have arrived by ship from Ireland, like many others before them, to make their fortunes. Barely scraping by, their lively hood and Gladys’ maidenhood, is severely at risk when two dastardly villains arrive looking to make their fortune the easy way! Can Gladys' modesty remain intact? Will her parents believe her? Will the villains succeed? Or can the hero, Sergeant Will Campbell, save the day?
